110,000 Miles Possible with US Airways 2011 Grand Slam Promotion

Sunset in California

Batter up. It’s time to rack up some hits and earn some US Airways miles. Even if US Airways is not your primary mileage program, and even if you don’t want to go crazy earning hits, you should register for this and take advantage of the bonus miles you can earn. This promotion runs from September 14 through November 14. Make sure and register now.

The basic premise is you earn bonus miles for completing activities to earn “hits”. Every four hits, you get a bonus. The activities range from shopping at the Dividend Miles Shopping Mall to signing up for Netflix, to renting a car from one of US Airways partners (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, National, Sixt, Thrifty) to buying flowers from FTD (or one of the other major flower chains) to staying at a partner hotel (lots of choices here) etc… As you can see, some activities are quick and easy and others are more demanding and possibly not worth the time or money. Regardless, this promotion could be a fun way to add a whole bunch of miles to your account. Just think about that how much you will enjoy that Lufthansa flight to Europe in Biz class.

So, sign up.

Read the rules.

In case you still have questions, read this.

Start earning miles.

Remember it starts on Sept. 14th so activity before then does not count towards the promotion. This is just a heads up so you can sort out your game plan to maximize the number of miles you earn.

Here’s what the bonus miles chart looks like:
